Catch me if you can

Steven Spielberg

We have watched the movie Catch Me If You Can in the classroom. The film is about a boy named Frank Abagnale Jr.. This story begins approximately in the years 50/60, when the parents of Frank get divorced and he decides to explore the world. He pretends to be a co-pilot so he can easily counterfit checks and can charge at banks and hotels. He can also free travel by plane. If the police detect him he makes the decision to do something else. He's going to become a doctor with a false diploma, and without medical knowledge he becomes the boss of the Department. In the hospital he meets a girl who he falls in love with. Because the girl's father is lawyer Frank decides to also become a lawyer. He wants to get married with her but when the FBI comes on his wedding party, he can escape just in time and says to his fiancé that she must meet him at the airport. But when his fiancé arrives at the airport, the police and FBI are also there as she has informed the FBI about him.

He's going to continue as co-pilot and flies to France to the village where his mother lived, there he goes back to counterfeiting of cheques. In 1969 Frank got arrested and gets 2 years in prison. He counterfitted a total of 2.5 million dollars.

I find it a nice movie because it's a true story. I find it a pity that there is not as much action in it, because I am more into action movies myself. It is definitely a movie I recommend to watch. You'll also learn something of how it used to collect because when you had no money went with debit card, but simply checks that you could easily distort competition. If I would have to give the movie a rating I think an 8 because it is a fun and educational movie, but I would not watch it myself in my free time. Especially since there is not a lot of action in it and it is already a fairly old film and I don't like that that much.
